What is Metro Remote?

Metro Remote is a developer tool for React Native engineers who need to run, hot-reload, and ship updates to real iOS devices from anywhere — without USB cables, without being on the same Wi-Fi, and without lugging laptops to physical devices. Your network becomes the cable.

What ships at launch:

• Encrypted tunnel — connect a Mac to an iPhone over any network (cellular, hotel Wi-Fi, 5G), with full Metro bundler + DevTools access.
• OTA deploy — push JavaScript updates to real devices in seconds, no App Store round-trip.
• AI device automation (MCP) — let Claude, Cursor, or Codex drive a real iPhone running your app: tap, type, scroll, read state, verify flows. Not a simulator.
• CLI + iOS companion app — single-command setup, QR-code device pairing, kill-switch.

Note: no-Mac cloud builds will launch with Pro as a paid add-on (from $2/build), not bundled with founder pricing — see Beta Terms §8b.

What's live today

The payment, account, and founder-pricing infrastructure is live on production today. When you buy a founder spot:

• Stripe processes the $99 charge against our live account.
• Your spot is reserved against the founder cohort allocation — atomically enforced, no overselling.
• You receive a founder welcome email at your GitHub-account address.
• You can view + manage your subscription in the dashboard immediately.
• On launch day (July 2026), you receive a second email with CLI install command, iOS app TestFlight invite (if Apple review complete), and MCP setup instructions for Claude / Cursor / Codex.

The product itself (CLI, iOS app, MCP package) is in the final stages of pre-launch: TestFlight submission pending Apple Developer org verification, npm package staging complete. Founder members will be the first to receive access.

What you should know (honest pre-launch disclosure)

Per Beta Terms §3 and §5a (Discontinuation risk):

• July 2026 is a target, not a contractual guarantee. Apple Developer organisation verification, App Store / TestFlight review, and npm publication can shift dates. We commit in good faith to launch as soon as practical.
• Cancel → forfeit. If you cancel your founding subscription at any point — voluntarily, via failed payment dunning, or by changing plans — your locked-in founder pricing is permanently forfeited. Re-buying after cancellation is auto-refunded; you would need to subscribe to standard Pro ($708/year) instead.
• Beta software. The Service is provided as-is during beta. Your statutory rights (Consumer Rights Act 2015, CCR 2013 Reg 36, Section 75 CCA 1974, UK GDPR) are preserved and never overridden by these terms.
